I was skeptical but my little Ásál 🍯 is really taking the lessons to heart and now I can say “Big kids don’t have tantrums. Big kids use their words,” and at least half the time she does 🙃

from the Big Kid Power series. My toddler loves when we get to the part that says “Do I still use a binky?” And she yells “NO!” Then we practice all the things Big Kids do instead.

Practice saying ✅ “báleh, lotfán” (yes, please) and ❌ “náh, mersee” (no, thank you) when people want a 💋 boos (kiss), and to ask before we try to give a 💋 boos too. This is a hard one in Persian culture! Of course I want her to give all her Ammehs and Amoos 💋 boos-boos 💋! But still important to learn to say no if she feels uncomfortable, as hard as it is.
